Here are a couple pictures of my first forged blade.Behind it is the truck spring I cut a piece from to forge it. Had I known it would have turned out so well I would have used known steel.It did however harden well enough to skate a file on the edge and take a temper line without using clay.
It is aprox 9-3/4" X 2" X 1/4".

Don't know why it isn't working.I've only posted a few pictures before and I think I am doing this the same way.

It looks like you have just [/IMG] at the end, you also need one at the beginning, just without the slash, it should look like this



maybe that will help.
 
looks good - will be interested in seeing it with the handle and guard in place.
 
I was going to wait untill it was finished but there was a mix up on my Accuraglass order and I'm two weeks behind on getting it finished.I guess I'm a little excited.
