Ok I just had to try this again. Everyone has been so helpful I feel I need to show some better pictures so here they are.

Thanks again for all of your input, and yes the blade is straight but it really does look crooked in that picture because I shaped the guard more to the antler.

Looks great! I think the thing I like the most is that it really shows your effort.
Nice job.:thumbup::D

Great job for your first forged blade! The file work looks very even and uniform as well.

Congrats!

Thanks for boost, everyone who has ever posted a knife on here has helped me in some way shape or form. Thanks again!

I would be concerned about the weight of all that brass on the handle, but that's just a personal preference. It looks nicely fitted, and the look of the spacers etc balances nicely to my eye (brass/red/black/red/brass/red ... then mirrored on the other end :thumbup:)

You might go over the blade once more just to get all the scratches nice and straight. But overall that baby's ready to go! :)

The handle is whitetail antler from a buck shot by a friend of mine and I plan on giving her a final once over before I make the sheath.

Sweet :thumbup: I still have a hard time keeping the balde straight after forging, must be my crooked eye :eek: :jerkit:
