Awhile back I purchased a ZDP-189 Dragonfly 2 and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It's light weight and thin, full-flat ground blade make it a dream to carry and use. ZDP-189 is good stuff . I'm not a big fan of FRN, especially in comparison to G10, so I thought, heck, why not swap handles with the G10 version? Warranty? We don't need no stinkin' warranty!
Taking the blade out was no problem, but reassembling the G10 variant is far more difficult than the FRN version. The G10 Dragonfly has separate liners, handle scales, and backspacer as opposed to the solid one piece construction of the FRN version. But it all came together in the end. The look and feel, IMO, is fantastic.
