My First Full Custom

How others choose to collect is their business. If you want to go batoning with a gold inlaid custom from Michael Walker, I say happy batoning! If you want to put an Opinel in a safety deposit box, Then go for it!

At the end of the day, it's YOUR knife. Do with it as you please, and if you want YOUR knife to be a safe queen, then that is what it is.

Let no one tell you how you should enjoy this, or any hobby.

And congrats on a really nice pickup.

Brian did.

If D2 is good enough for Bob Dozier, Brian Tighe, and a host of other custom makers, it’s good enough for me. I’ve got plenty of Rem-Oil. But housed in a Nalpak Pelican 1300 with two rechargeable desiccant packs I doubt that will be necessary.
Ok, was just wondering since you said it was your first full custom, I thought you might have chosen everything.

Pretty and all, but I'll be the guy that says that if a knife has a "designer" that's not you, then its not "full custom". Custom knife is one of the most erroneously used terms in the knife world. Its all in the name, custom knife means made to a customers specifications, its where the definition comes from.
