My First GEC

Nice Barlow!

I have several GEC knives and they are all top notch. These are what our grandchildren will find in our dressers and say "this is grandpa's old knife" - and I will be happy to have GEC's be what they find. ;^)

Amen to that, I've thought this same thing. My trusty old 55 will be something the grandkids will remember about me some day.

I gifted a UN-X-LD #33 to my 24 yr old son a couple months ago. His first traditional and he loves it. :)

As previously discussed I had to buy another knife.

As described on site at Gunstock Jack's it's a #55 GEC/Northfield, Hounds Tooth in Autumn Gold Jig Bone. It told me to buy it.

To black mamba. Nice knife! I think that the Calf Roper Stockman in primitive bone that you showed me has really peaked my interest for my next purchase. I'll have to see if I can find one.

K.K.
