My first Glock

I just bought a pair of 17's. Consecutive serial numbers, unfired. They are the 9/11 American Heroes commemorative Glocks. Pretty sweet. Only thing is, I have to get hi-caps, as these were made in early '02 when the ban was still in.

imho the best glocks for edc concealed are the 26/27/33's, they do make a single stack .45 but they are almost as thick as the smaller frame ones, if it wasnt for kahr poly frames (ie P9, PM9) i would still edc a 26 or 33, the PM9 is a lot better edc pistol though, its lots slimmer.

Thanks, I'll check them out. As for the tupperware posts, I've always been a rubbermaid man myself.... :D

Glock 36 is a small single stack .45.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend the Glock 36 because it's hit or miss whether you get a typical (i.e. utterly reliable) Glock or a jam-o-matic. Unfortunately mine fell into the latter category and was only reliable after switching to hotter loads. It's currently on consignment sale at the local gun shop.

Too bad, as I loved the ergonomics. Damned thing fit me like a glove.

Dimensionally, it's nearly identical to the G-19/G-23/G-32.........

We're talking only a couple 1000th's of an inch difference in places.

.

Just put a new G19 on lay-a-way. Christmas present to myself---hey somebody has to get me what I want---lolololol.------I'll pick it up in a couple months when its paid for.

I've decided to start carrying since the whole Westroads thing---and my Sig P226 is just too big(and heavy) of a monster to carry all day.
