My First gunstock war club

Way to go Robin. You out did yourself. Up another notch. Always like seeing your creativity. I am always inspired.

Thanks for all the comments guys. This forum inpires me to do better work.

Very best regards to all.

Fantastic! I see you are still wowing everyone with your work. Love the wood, leather, and brass treatments. That would look great hanging next to my caribou.

Sooo Nice.
Makes me want to watch Last of the Mohicans again.

Hi there Balldboy, thanks for your comment. I'm just looking for a nice chunk of curly maple, was thinking the one from "last of the Mohicans" would be next. ;-))

Best regards

Robin

Robin, my 91 year old mother passed away on the last day of October. Had to drive back to Randy's neck of the woods for her funeral. Just got back home. I see you guys have been busy while I was gone. Missed the great pieces being produced and the conversations.

Sorry to hear that Howard, didn't know you were here.. Glad you made it back before the snow flys....Randy

Thanks guys. Randy, I didn't have time to contact you. Wish I could have had more time. Also, the scuppernongs were not ripe and I would have loved to have brought some home.

Howard

Beautiful work as always brother. How would they have carried that club when on the move?

Interesting, here is one with such a strap. Now I have to see Last of the Mohicans again.
