oh well, I can only buy knives online, you know, cause I used to stab the salesperson first for a knife test ...

Man you got some ideas ...

When I cut open the tape on some particularly nice packaging on christmas day, our daugter complained very loud of my use of a knife.

Excuse me, that I don't take knife criticism serious any more.

I can agree, the video could have been longer with more info. But you don't have to be such a jerk about it.

C'mon, chef! Don't you practice spins and grip changes with your kitchen knives? I mean, seriously? You never know when you'll have to reverse grip to cut a potato sneaking up on you.

Everyone knows that really good chefs can twirl their knives and spatula shrimp into peoples' mouths.

LOL ! You'll be surprised what a good drummer can do with spatulas !
About twirling... it's not "that" easy with light kitchen knives.
But the Hest is blade heavy and its micarta handle is very good.
I thought the pry bar will be a problem but no. This knife spin fast.

To feel and play with a knife is not a question of showing off. It's a personnal way to feel and know your tool. Some knife are "alive" in your hands and some are "dead". The hest is like the tail of a happy dog !:D
Positive grip and great balance.

pretty nimble, i cut myself taking the damn thing outa the bag!!!.
