My first HI khukuris

Thanks Karda, I realized that just now as I was polishing a few of my Khuks and noticed they all had the hash mark. :o

You've got a piece of history. Sher's khuks are always overbuilt.
It looked BRUTE when compared to the ASTK.

Great! I have a piece from Sher.....! oooooh! It's wonderful! One more piece I want to collect is something from Bura. It's hard!

Jay! You are rite! It's the Chatuchak weekend market. I & my wife shark that market everytime I come to Thailand. Lots of interesting stuff. I'll be in Thailand next week, from 28 Jul to 02 Aug. I'll be visiting both Chiangmai and Bangkok. Summer time, time for travel. :) :) :)

No problem as I'm trying to find a good one for me myself. Will let you know.

Last time I bought one from Chatuchak market but the piece seems to be a mass production, handmade from sheet stock. I'll check it out in Chiangmai which is a mountainous region, hope there would be some blacksmith village.
