It's so prettttty *_* ;0Hey folks,
Ignore my 2008 join date, I am basically new here. I have always been a fan of knives, cars, firearms, watches, and knives. Back when I joined in 08, I had just finished my enlistment in the Navy, and have been working everyday to make ends meet. I never had the time to really get into my hobbies and forgot I even had an account here, until I tried to sign up and got a message account already exists. Had to work long hours to support myself and my parents since they had health problems. Fast forward 10 years, I paid off my parent's house, my dad passed, and have a bit of money saved up . I figured I'd enjoy the fruits of my labor while I can, as I realized that life is short.
I started to do my research on YouTube, blade magazine, and then ran into this forum again. Saw a knife made by Miekal Zieba in an ad and decided to get it. For the last ten years, I carried a ZT 0300 TAD as my EDC. Got the Zieba in yesterday and I am really impressed. It's longer than my ZT but much lighter. Love the colors. I will be spending a lot of time here to learn about knife collecting and look forward to meeting everyone, as I begin to grow my collection. Hopefully I don't ask too many stupid questions lol. Here's a pic of my Zieba, model S5 Southern Star.

Sadly after spending a day or two with the knife, I sent it back to the store. I liked everything about it, except that the flipper tab took too much pressure to deploy the blade. I had to use my thumb. I thought maybe I need to eat my Wheaties but skin actually peeled off my index finger from pushing so hard. Was told by someone who knows more than me that the tension bar was too tight.
Got me a Jamie Simeon knife instead. Can't wait to receive it in the mail.
High end knives are great and all, but I’m an absolute sucker for a well used tool.
How about some pics of that ZT that’s got a decade of use behind it?
