I've been looking at Hinderers for a while and am highly considering picking up, both on the secondary market, either an XM18 3.5" with a koi and some nice scale, or a Eklipse in black with copper or bronzed hardware.
And yes, yes, of course they are both great knives and I should at least eventually try (read "own" here) both of them, but due to the prices and my income at the moment, I need to decide on one or the other. I can always flip either if I don't like them, but I would prefer my first Hinderer experience to be a great one.
At the moment I'm pretty onboard with getting the Eklipse if I can find one around $400, but I want to hear your opinions.
