lolzOk, you can lock your own threads if you are the OP (in this case you are).
Go to the first post, click "Edit", then click " Go Advanced". Underneath the text box are a list of options... Under "Thread Management" near the bottom is this: "Close this thread after you submit your message". Click the check box to the left of this, and then edit you post to say something like,"Posted in wrong forum" or whatever, and then hit "Submit".
It won't disappear, but no one will be able to post to this thread after you lock it, and it will fall away as new threads are opened or bumped up. :thumbup:
