First things first, I have to give a BIG thanks to the Busse crew. My knife, a Team Gemini Light Brigade who I have affectionately named Dixie (thought about naming her Dixon after a certain zombie ass kicker but I'll save that name for if I ever get my hands on an original TG) arrived Friday and boy ol' boy is she awesome!!! This is my first INFI and I have not stopped molesting her since I got her. I absolutely love this knife. Easily my favorite blade in my collection and probably my favorite knife I've ever owned to date. It just oozes quality and badassery. Nice and hefty but still lively in hand and she came hair shaving sharp. I was a tad concerned about the TGLB's hollow grind being too thin but my fears were for not. There is still plenty of INFI behind the edge. Honestly if you found a way to damage the hollow ground edge of the TGLB, I don't see a convex edge fairing much better under the same abuse (and it would take A LOT of abuse to hurt this knife).
If I had one minor nitpick about this knife it would be the "black" micarta scales are a little darker than I was expecting. I love the tan/drab look of the "black" micarta scales in the pics on the Busse site but mine are more of a dark greenish grey. Again though that is just me nitpicking and doesn't take away from the knife at all. Anyways this knife has exceeded my expectations. I'll admit it wasn't that long ago I couldn't fathom paying much over $200 for a knife let alone $300 + but it's like what most of you guys have said, you really have to hold a Busse in hand to fully appreciate it. I'm pretty certain ol' Dixie is merely the first of many INFI in my collection. But enough of my rambling and on to the pics!
