My first Izula Wrap

Wow, that looks fantastic!
I bet it's very comfortable to the hand, but I still think that cord wrapping is not the best handle when you have to get your knife wet or oily/greasy . That's why I want to get the Izula but order it with the scales.

Honestly though, this is the best looking wrapped Izula I've seen so far !

I agree with you.. i will regret the paracord at the first animal who is going to get in my way in my survival expedition, haha, so you kinda confirm me that i need another izula! This one will be use for regular non-gory work around camp, or just EDC as soon as I find a mini and big tek-lok dealer.

Poor wallet.. this forum cost a lot post-registration..

no one made you get anything, it was your choice! :D
it has cost me some money too. :D

i am what the Montrealais call a "deserter". Born and raised there, but after graduating from McG, I moved to the big Smoke (GTA). But I still love the St. Viateur bagels, Montreal Pool Room (Lafleurs a close second) and Chenoys (sorry Schwartz, but I'm from DDO). And of course, GSP.

and I also love the wrap. I'll likely try that myself, sans skull (my wife wouldn't like it...).

That looks good, I like the addition to the skull. Makes it your own. Great job

Suggestion to do something with the LONG spare cable near the handle before i cut it off ? I started to overhand-knot it a couples of time to see what it looked like, maybe make an overhand knot loop (round as big as the izula ring) or just cut it all! Ideas ?

It reminds me of a Sarcophagus with the shape, color scheme and the face! Good job man:thumbup:

that's an awesome job. Just out of curiosity, does it cause any issues with comfort or grip? i would imagine it might feel a little different under the pinky or ring finger. Either way it looks great

before i was done.. i asked me the same question.. i was happy to realize that it fit flawlessly with my hand (i am off course right handed or i would have install the skull on the other side.. the skull disapear under my finger right between the pinky finger and his neigbor) actually help my grip.. its not a fragile skull and im not affraid of pushing on it or using force on it.. i was surprised to realize that it help me gripping the knife
