My first Khukuri!

I don't think I'm going to be able to make it Saturday. Mama has to see a specialist again tomorrow (Friday) And I don't have any allowance left. If I have to buy medications I'll have to use a credit card. From what the weatherman is saying right now I hope you don't get caught in a mess in Austin. Mom and I get our allowance from a land payment that is due us on the 23rd. This caught us between the rock and the hard place. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to get Uncle Bill to get me a 12" AK. I don't know why but, I want one of those in the worst way. Then I have to figure on Christmas too. I need to get a map of the area where you live. I have some wood that I want you to try useing for a knife handle when I can get it to you. It come from South America in the rain forest. Dark red, heavy,and just beautiful stuff to me. It isn't really that awful hard to work for as hard as it seems.

The stuff is strong enough for me to jump on. I had piece 1.5" SQ. about 3' long one end up on a step on the back patio and I could bounce on it. Always bent back to true. A fellar working for a construction co. in Austin gave me a bunch of smaller pieces that they were going to throw away.

I thought I was keeping up fairly well with the posts but, I sure missed page three here to other night. The way Munk emailed me I didn't know what he was talking about. By that time I guess I had already mad some kind of A$$ of myself. I'm not sure how I go about straightening out being dumb.
 
Relax and be your good normal self. I'm sure we all miss some good posts. Don't be hard on your self.

I have noticed one thing on the posts. Those little symbols telling you whether or not there is a new posts to a thread are not very accurate. I find myself re reading posts that those symbols say have new posts and there isn't any, AND vice versa. Threads that the little symbols say are 'nothing new' have something new. Sure do alot of rereading at times.

UB - Think Pappy is talking about missing the posts on the pkg sent to him from me via you.

We are human and have many things on our mines. At least sometimes, I think I have something on my mind, maybe not in my mind.:)
 
It has to do with the server slowdown. Some posts don't want to load fully and it may take several tries to get them to do so. AAARGHHH :mad: :mad: :mad:

Keep on trying - Maybe about 3 or 4 AM might work.
 
It surprised me early this morning, about the 1:00 to 2:00AM time frame things seemed a bit slow and I was the only one on the HI forum so, I have no idea what is happening.

I don't pay much attention to some of the signs and just try to read all the new posts that I think I haven't seen. Sure enough I missed one I should have seen:D
