I have been swamped with some major home improvements, so knife making has had a back seat for the past 3 months.

11 1/2" over all
6 1/2" blade
5160 forged
1018 gaurd and butt
curly maple with german silver wire accents

This blade was inspired by a few master smiths. I took bits and peices that I liked and rolled them into this blade.

Comments welcome

Remember first blade froged after a 3 month break so be gentle

Thanks for lookin

It seems that your time off did not diminish your skills. That is a very beautiful knife. Great work!

I think that you did an excellent job. Nice balance between the forge marks and the handle. How thick is the blade steel?

It is just over 1/4" at the gaurd ant tapers down to a razor point.

Sounds like a plan Scott!

I was at Mr. Barnes shop the other morning for a silver wire inlay lesson! He is a world class craftsman!

I love that knife Bro!

I like it. Nice and slashy!

Great job.

Just as an aside, the pattern that the blade is reflecting makes it look like some crazy kind of pattern welded steel. The photo looks cool.

I think it looks great!! Is this one already spoken for or are you going to be putting it up for sale? I call Dibs... :D

I took the picture under my deck, it does look kinda wild.
