Nothing real special, just a cute little hunter/EDC. When a cousin of mine got married several years ago, I made her and her groom a couple of bowies. They were some of the first blades I ever forged, and were pretty awful. (Note, awful does NOT mean the same thing as awesome. :D )

So recently I offered to replace them with something of my current quality, and my cousin wanted one like my own EDC. So here is what she's getting:

Total length around 7-1/2" steel is O1, ground, not forged, handle is white linen micarta and red liners.

Sorry about the poor picture quality. Something went wrong when I edited them... It won't happen again. :)
 
Nice. I'd like to make something like that. I need to order some of that handle material but maybe a different color. What do you use to grind the blade and what do you use to put your name on it. I would really like to get clean lins like that on my blades.
 
She's going to love the knife. And the photo looks nice as well. Great job as always Phillip. --------:thumbup:
