My first knife (made from scratch)

Hi,
Thought I'd share a few photos of a knife I just finnished that I made from scratch. It's my first one. Next one will be 50% better!

Sorry about that last photo, the way the light was made the handle look all grainy. The very top picture is more what it looks like.

That's hard to say. I started on it about two years ago and and just worked on it from time to time. It is actually a historic reproduction so I had to do lots of research. It would probably take a few days (to a week for your very first time) if you have the right equipment and know the steps to make one of these. I bet a professional could make one in a day.
