Very well done, Richie! You can be proud of that one. I still spend an average of 20 hours on a knife, so my jaw dropped when you said 7 hours. Looks like you've got it figured out.

Hate to tell you guys how many left-handed sheaths there are in my leather scrap box!

Thanks for all the complements guys! It's really encouraging to here all the positive comments. I'm trying to decide what to make next, I hope I'm as lucky with the second knife....

It would be good if it was #100.

At #1 it's outstanding

You have good instincts and a steady hand. I can't wait to see # 100

A couple questions. :)
I'm finally gearing up to make my first and I was wondering where you got your bar stock?
Thanks Much,

Cameron

Hi Cameron,
The most reasonable place I found to buy O1 was MSC www.mcsdirect.com or give them a call 1-800-645-7270 and order their 4" thick catalog free!....Also I got my belts and some other supplies from Pop's knives and supplies in Ga. ph 706-678-5408 evenings Pop is a good guy........

Hope this helps, Richie

Alex, I used a small oxy/acetylene outfit for heat treat...
