Hey Guys
its been a while since i have posted here.have been traveling in europe and india.
back home in dubai now.
i was in switzerland to learn bladesmithing from a talented knifemaker Daniel.Gentile[dgentile.com].
learnt the stock removal method and managed to make my first knife.
its a persian fixed blade and the design was conceived by me.
its nowhere close to a perfect fit and finish but i have decided to setup a small shop at home and learn the art.
it was a fun experience and i would strongly suggest every knife collector to try his hands at knifemaking.it just makes you appreciate the hardwork that goes into making a knife.

please look at the pictures[im the guy in blue] and let the compliments pour in.
:D
let me know how you guys like the design.

What a fine knife--especially for a first time. I also love your design. True to your heritage?
