I've enjoyed spydies for a while, and I happily use my ffg endure at work everyday (I'm a painter in a dealerships collision center) to mask cars instead of a razor blade

Well I edc my Milli or pm2 out of work so wanted to try a manix....so I ordered one from knives emporium and received today

.......omg I love this thing! More comfortable than my pm2 and enjoy the different look of the hollow grind...now I want a skeletonized sprint

Damn you spyderco you've sucked me in again! Lol

And of course a family pic

Nice score!!!
I had a Manix 2 LW a little while back and ended up trading it but out of all he trades I've done, I regret that one... I will soon have another Manix though:)

Yep, LOVE my Manix2! Love the Hollow Grind (looks like a freakin' meat cleaver!. LOL!)... such a nice change up to all the FFGs Spydies I have.

I am a bonafide Para2 fanatic and always resisted the Manix2 because I didn't see a need for it. Well, when I finally gave in and picked up one... oh my goodness... is it an awesome knife. And now that it's in S30V it's a great alternative to the Para2 (or better yet... GET BOTH... in fact, I highly recommend it!!!).

It is heavier than the Para2 (not necessarily a bad thing) at 5oz, and generally chunkier. But I love it's heft, love the way it feels in the hand, ergos are as good (yet different) as the Para2... and love it's look. What a great, great knife... here's some Para2/Manix2 love!

My Manix 2 lightweight is still my favorite knife, beating out Benchmades, oter Spydies, SOGs, Skylines, and a Microtech

Nice - where did you get the deep carry clips?

Yep, STR Lowrider. Steve is a great guy who makes an awesome Ti clip! I have 4 of them for my Para2s and, of course, the one for the Manix2! Love 'em!

This was a hard thing to realize for me but that's the reality of it. I was a diehard Para 2 guy ever since buying my first one, and had previously sworn off the Manix 2 because of the steel (not a big 154CM fan) but when I finally handled both of them at the same time it was hard to argue against the ergonomics. The Manix 2 fits my hand much better especially behind the choil. I've also come to like the shape of the blade more because it has less belly which is something I like (i'm a wharnie lover). I really hope someday they decide to skeletonize and FFG the standard S30V Manix 2, even if it does bring the price up in line with the Para 2. I'm currently EDC'ing the M4 spring and it's one hell of a knife.

When Manix 2 gets FFG I will be on that sooooo fast
In the meantime I'm just dancing around the idea :p

I just received a Orange Sprint run Manix 2 in s30 NIB and my initial impressions were that i absolutely love it,,,,so much im considering EDCing it.At this point i havent stopped admireing it and fondling it just dont know if i should edc a sprint run knife.Anyone know how the orange scales clean up if they get dirty?

I see myself eventually adding a DLC-bladed Manix2 to keep my stonewashed version company. The only other knife in own more than one of is the Para2. I like the Manix2 that much!!!!

Meh, I modded and EDC one of the more rare sprints. You only live once. Only 600 made (from what I'm aware).

Is the tip on the Manix 2 thicker (more robust ) than the Paramilitary ? Anyone have a photo of the spine comparing the two ?

- regards

This one? Super light weight....only thing I missed is the steel liner jimping on the heavier model..
