Hi guys. This is my first post in the tomahawk forum and my first pipe hawk. The head was forged from 1 1/2 square mild steel with 1084 forgewelded in for the cutting edge, and features carved and filed mouldings and an aged finish.Haft is curly maple wrapped in rawhide at the top and braintanned buckskin at the bottom. The mouthpiece is deer antler, and the smoke plug is a small thin damascus knife that was a hidden surprise for the customer, and the top cap is wrought iron underlayed with copper.

I especially like the *surprise* knife. Ive always thought that a knife/hawk combo like that made good sense.
