Just now was the first time I opened it in? I can't tell you how many years. I had to use a screwdriver to pry the blades open. There is a weird looking blade kind of like awl or maybe it's to clean horses hooves? Can you tell me what that is?View attachment 2247775

It's an awl. You can use it for prying, making holes, undoing knots, striking sparks on a ferro rod, drilling wood, sticking bloated cattle, etc. and if the tip is profiled correctly it can be an eyeglasses screwdriver too.
