First a thanks to Wick for his advice and to Tommy for posting all those great sites on folders. This knfe was made from a left over piece of saw steel, which kind of dictated evrythig about the knife from its pivot point to its length. The antler was straightened and split to make the body of the knife!

The pivot has washers made from the same material as the blade and have been filed for effect. A welding rod has been peened over to hold it all together.

The locking bar is made from a steel tube and pinned with another piece of welding rod peened over.

I have learned one thing on the next one I will let the knife dictate the length insted of the piece of steel dictating the knife.

I think that will make my life easier and probably a more portionate knife as well. The width of the left over steel dictated where it was wide enough to be able to put in the pivot point on this knife and therefore made the lock end longer and the blade shorter than I really was shooting for!
Anyway live and learn, I have always heard when you get to old to learn, its all over anyway!:D

Thanks JohnnyMahem! I wasn't getting any feedback here so I moved it it too folders, the powers to be moved it to the Gallery. I included a little more info on everything there. So you may want to check over there!
