Morning all, i have come on here as i love a good knife but being a Brit has its down sides... its alot harder for us to get good quality knives here and rediculosly expensive to import them in... so i decided i was going to make two "replicas" (plese dont frown at me).

Basicly i have taken a shine to the Tom Browns Tracker Knife and the Busse Team Gemini, untill i can get my hands on some AISI O1 tool steel (the americans in the room may have a different name for this steel) i am utilising a nice bit of 1/4" mild steel plate, my plan was to make the blanks out of this mild steel so i can get it as close to perfect as i can seeming as the tool steel i a few weeks away, i have done 99% of the blanks (pictures will be up soon).

My origional thought was to buy the scales off a team gemini and use them to base my handle around (for some reason im finding it hard to make the blank feel cumfortable) but seeming as Busse dont sell spares i guess its back to the file.

These arfe my first ever made knives and i have read through the variose links (much aprechiated guys) please let me know if you think i am doing something wrong and feel free to push me in the right direction, i would also like to hear from anyone who has made similiar knives.

Thank you all and enjoy your days

as promised here are the pictures (if this works)

not sure if you can see but the handle on the gemini isnt quite finnished, im looking to find out what the bevel angles are for each of these knives if anyone can let me know please, also the blood groove on the Busse, if anyone has dimensions (lenght, width, depth) these would be greatly aprechiated :)

thank you all any hints and
