Got my first RAT today. An RC 3. Man, does it feel good in the hand. I can't wait to use it. Now, what shall it be next....?:eek: :D

:D Congrats, welcome to the RAT pack :thumbup:,

The best way I have found to gain respect and trust for your RAT is to go and use it, use it hard if the job asks for it. As for what RAT next, I really like the Izula.
 
You will find yourself getting all of the RATs now. Congrats on the RC 3 :thumbup:
 
Congrats on the RC-3!!! now you need to go to the other end of the spectrum with an RC-6 or RC-5!!
 
Sweet! congratulations. I got my first 3 on the way too, 2 to 5 more days, its killing me!
 
I bought a RC-5 today, but now I want a RC-4, Izula, and a RC-3. The problem is since they come in so many different configurations, I want three different RC-3's and the RC-3MIL.
 
Congrats on the first RAT. Izula was my first, then RC-4 then RC-3... I'm not sure it will ever stop.:D

Got my first RATs !!!

Received my RC-6 and my Izula from Derrick, and boy do I understand you guys. The fit and finish on the blades are Superb, the coating looks and feels great, the RC-6 handle fit my hands superbly (I even can use it with winter gloves, always an issue for me and my bear paws). The Izula is really nice and I love it.
Going to do some outdoors work soon so I'll get back to what I really think of them.

By the way Derrick, nice service it took exactly 8 days to come here in Canada, counting in that a 3 day week end for Queen Victoria, nice work on the fast shipping, you better keep whoever is in the backstore :). I'll get back to more business with you that is for sure.

Just a quick question though, are international orders not eligible to RAT promotions ? Because you posted that there was a free fire kit for every 2 RAT order, since I didn't get one I was just wondering. Its no worries for me you just became a great knife dealer to deal with so I'll stick to ya anyway :).

Are you referring to Derrick from Knives Ship Free? I ordered an RC-6 on April 16th and got it on April 27th. I was so impressed that the same day I got it I ordered the RC-4 and Izula which arrived May 6th.
I wasn't aware of any 2-knife order promo and didn't receive any Fire kit so it's either it wasn't in effect when I ordered or you are correct and Int'l orders aren't eligible.
Sweet knives none the less! Just can't wait to get out of the city to use them some time. I've got some plans for some future model photoshoots and these knives out in the woods.:D

There was not a US restriction or anything on the Firekit promo. Shoot me an email with your order number and we'll get it on its way to you.

I can't remember when the promo started but I believe it was this month, so that explains the one on April 16.

Glad they made it there quickly! :)

Probably! I was actually thinking of sending them to Jeff and Mike to post on the site, depending on how good they come out. I was gonna do a woods shoot with a girl this past Sunday, but she was a no-show. I only took my RC-4 with me as I didn't want to freak her our with the RC-6 and Izula. :D

I'll have more model shoots lined up through out the summer so I'll get the shots eventually.;)

As for the Firekit promo from Derrick, oh well, timing is everything as they say. I'm just happy I got my knives. I'll likely order one some time in the future.
Funny thing about that tho is the first order with the RC-6 I got hit with about $30 in duty/customs but nothing on the 2nd order with my RC-4 and Izula.
 
I don't see why you need a firekit if you live in Canada anyways, isn't always warm and sunny up there?

Also if your model pics are as good as your car pics I'm sure Jeff and all the guys here will love them. Of course now that I think about it I do remember that very famous latin chick in one of your pics.

Yeah I really don't need another firekit, I've got two Firesteels that I've never used. Heck I live less that 10 miles from the CN Tower, that's about as urban an area as you can get. Firemaking is the last of my issues really. It's just cool to have!

As for the pics thanks, glad you like em. I had posted the Vida Guerra pic and the Widebody Honda Prelude in that other thread. I'll be shooting 1/4 mile drags, drifting and show'n'shine show cars all day Sunday.

Anyhow, back on on topic!
