:D

Probably! I was actually thinking of sending them to Jeff and Mike to post on the site, depending on how good they come out. I was gonna do a woods shoot with a girl this past Sunday, but she was a no-show. I only took my RC-4 with me as I didn't want to freak her our with the RC-6 and Izula. :D

I'll have more model shoots lined up through out the summer so I'll get the shots eventually.;)

As for the Firekit promo from Derrick, oh well, timing is everything as they say. I'm just happy I got my knives. I'll likely order one some time in the future.
Funny thing about that tho is the first order with the RC-6 I got hit with about $30 in duty/customs but nothing on the 2nd order with my RC-4 and Izula.

Do you need an assistant?

OK OK I get the point. To bring the subject back to WS&S here's a few shots of my last outdoor hike and the natives I came across. I was bitten by a snake and collapsed. Next thing I know I came around and these beauties were standing over me. They told me I was near death and they had to suck all the poison out.

Alright that's all a lie, this was a shoot for some Caribana costumes I did a few years back but hey, it was out in the woods. Besides I don't think you guys would mind me posting.

LOL dude the list of candidates for that position is soo long it isn't funny. I post a lot of preview coverage for the site I shoot for on my Facebook profile and my wife gives all her male co-workers my Facebook info so they can check out the models. Most of them have already submitted applications to be waterboys, etc etc.:D

Hold on, 1st picture lady on the left, can you make out what her tattoo on her leg is?

edit: I'm guessing squirrel

I'm way cooler than them and I'm ugly as sin so I won't distract the girls.

Nutria rat. One night with me and all of a sudden she's gettin tattoos and planning weddings and will NOT stop calling me.

Are you referring to Derrick from Knives Ship Free? I ordered an RC-6 on April 16th and got it on April 27th. I was so impressed that the same day I got it I ordered the RC-4 and Izula which arrived May 6th.
I wasn't aware of any 2-knife order promo and didn't receive any Fire kit so it's either it wasn't in effect when I ordered or you are correct and Int'l orders aren't eligible.
Sweet knives none the less! Just can't wait to get out of the city to use them some time. I've got some plans for some future model photoshoots and these knives out in the woods.:D

Hi,

Of course I am referring to Derrick from KSF, I was really glad to see how effective he is. Shipping time was great and had no customs what so ever, maybe they'll catch me next time. The 2 knife promo was something he put up on a post in the forum when I was looking for a good knife, when he put the post for the promo I sent my order right away for my RC-6 and added the Izula.

Well I have to say a few words about the blades :

Izula : Great small blade, seriously its great I used it a lot for the past week and I am really glad of my purchase, its worth the money, plus the finish is really well done.

RC-6 : Really fulfills what I was looking for. Great blade, great steel, heavy enough to do small chopping, small enough to be in the cockpit bag. The fit and finish is outstanding to say the least. Love the handle material, especially when wet. Now I'm thinking of a blade more in the like of an RTAK II for hiking and camping but might wait for RAT to do one :).
Only thing I would like to improve for the RC-6 is the Sheath, the plastic seems cheap and the finish is beurk with the molding burrs all over.

But from this purchase learned 2 valuable lessons :
-RAT Cutlery is a really good name in the knife business
-KSF is a great knife shop for the guys up north.

If you don't mind me asking what color Izula did you get, also way to pull this thread back on topic I had given up on it :D

hehe hard to concentrate on the title with such nice wilderness pics floating here :)

I got a black Izula, but might be getting another one in another color

Congrats on the RC3. ...oh and meetings are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8PM at the addiction clinic. lol Free coffee and cookies!

By the way just to say Derrick just answered my email and yep he is sending me a fire kit, lets see how it does against all of the others I bought around Canada. For the moment my best results were with the strike force fire starter from ultimate survival.

KSF has a great customer service in my opinion, they reply to every mail and when they say they do something they just do it.
