Only had it a few days mate, but in all honestly the thing is so robust I can't see it ever not holding up!! I've never had a 'big, beefy, bust anything' kind of knife - hence I went with an RC-5. If you wanted something more general purpose though, the RC-4 might be a better option. The RC-5 has a really thick blade which means it is not as well suited for the more delicate work (as the RC-4 or RC-3 would be). But either way, you'll love whatever you get, or you could get both! I'm looking at the RC-3 MIL or izula next.

Service is good, prices are sometimes steep - but the knife is already in Oz, so the price premium can be considered a form of insurance...

Yeah i would agree 100% with that. The payment was confirmed and knife posted within 2 days, posted registered post and I had no troubles whatsoever. They have a really good range too.

Nice pictures for a camera phone. I imagine you do some recreation/hunting with the shotgun and rifle. Can't wait to see some more pics, especially with the good camera! Get some more scenery in there also, Australia's a beautiful country!

Sure do mate - I do some sporting clay shooting as well as a lot of hunting. So down here in Tas that means mainly wallaby, Forester Kangaroo (when I have cull permits), Fallow Deer (again either in season or with a cull permit), duck, etc.

Is your rifle a Ruger M77 Mark II .30-06 by chance? I have one and it looks just like yours. Beautiful shotgun as well!

Oh and nice ESEE-5 :D

Thanks! The shotty is a Winchester 12 Guage Sporter.
Yep, Rifle a M77 Mark II in Stainless, but I was a little sneaky with that one, its actually a .223 calibre, but I didn't have any bullets handy so the ammo with it are some .308 Hornady ballistic tip cartridges from my deer rifle :D
