My first real khukuri

Glad to see another knife nut at the Cantina. My second kuk was a GS, by Bura( The Royal Kami). I really love it. I think you'll find the 18" GS to be about ideal for that type kuk. This is most definetely THE place to be for Khukuris, fellowship and learning (about anything and everything). When I bought my first kuk from Uncle I had no idea what I was starting. BUT, its a good thing, as Martha would say.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to infect my father and my brother too, these khukuris seem to be pretty contagious. Right now I'm working on a long term plan for which ones to buy in what order

You are absolutely on the right path Spread it around (I infected both sons), and then plan your approach carefully - so much nicer than "Khaotic HIKV" - you wind up in the same place, but the ride is smoother
