My first SAK!

I have a silver Farmer that I really like when I'm camping. When I lost my peanut for a month I got reacquainted with my black Classic; every knife person should have one. Since I found my lost Peanut I've been carrying it and a Classic.

I carried a Tinker for years before someone stole it from my desk at work, and now sometimes carry a Super Tinker. Now I'm looking at a Stay-Glo SAK just because they're neat. You can't have too many!

Everyone needs a classic, they just don't know it. The classic has become my 'downtown' knife when the better half and I go down into Washington D.C. So many federal buildings, somany regs, so I just carry the classic and it does well. This morning I was doing some maintanence on my Toyota Tacoma, and replaced the burned out stoplight bulb in the Leer cap, and the burned out license plate lamp. The SD tip on the classic's nail file blade did the job as a phillips screw driver. Never had to run in the house for a proper screw driver. Then I used the knife blade to open the accursed plastic blister package the new bulbs came in.

Sometimes it seems to me that the little classic is as handy as a thumb. Don't know how people get by without one.

Carl.
