My first Sayoc lesson

I finally had my first eyeful of Sayoc Kali this weekend. W O W. (And that was only the tip of the iceberg) I only wish that their instruction sessions could have lasted longer.

Met Tuhon Chris, Jimmy, Gordon, Nick, and Guro Tom. Great group of guys (attitudes & skill). Tom is one all-around bad motor scooter and a cool guy too! (Tom, that's respect, not "sucking up" :) )

I highly recommend seeking them out for training!

I also want to say that Guro Marc (Denny) did an awesome job of organizing, running, and teaching parts of the First Annual Dog Brothers Training Seminar. I learned a lot and I look forward to future training sessions with him.

Sam,
It was great to meet you, I'm sorry we did not get more time to work out together.
I'll see you when I'm in LA finishing this movie, probably in Sept.

Judge,
Benicio looked bad at the Oscars because the night before he hurt his back badly working out and could not walk at all for 24 hrs.
The studio flew in the best doctors they could find just to get him on his feet for the Oscars.
He was in a lot of pain.

But he picked up the knife work well as did Tommy Lee Jones, hopefully we will see some good FMA on screen in a big picture. We will see what the editors do with it, I gave everything the actors could handle with just 50 to 70 hours of training, now it is up to Paramount.
Although we still have the big final fight to shoot.

Guro Tom,

Hey, I learned a few techniques just watching you work out with some of the other guys. Looking forward to Sept. Stay safe/healthy.
