on 31.12.06 I finished my first selfmade.

Based on a Lauri Leuku carbon blade

Blade length: 16.5cm
width: 37mm
thickness: 3mm
Ferrule & guard: steel (6mm & 8mm)
Handle: curly birch

That curly birch looks great. I'd love to see the knife shown at an angle that displays the blade better, but I like what I see.

I'll take a shot of the blade. The curly birch is truly beautiful, I'll try to polish it later.

I like it a lot! IMO, it's not too busy and all of the elements work well together.
Very nice combination of styles.... Bowie, Leuku..... whatever!
