My First Slipjoint!

I just got my first slipjoint! I have had locking knives since I was a kid, but I never really got into slippies, but yesterday my dad gave me a case gunstock, it is green bone with blue accents! It is a cool knife, and now I want more!

Congrats salty. Just be carefull for a while till you get used to not having a lock. Its danged hard to count to ten with nine fingers.

Slippys are always special. Congrats on your first one. The first ones are always the best I think. I still have mine also. One of these days I'll drift back to my roots and probably stay there by carrying a slipjoint all the time again like I used to.

I am carrying my Mountain Man today, but my Gunstock is my favorite slippy right now. Great design.

I don't have any pics, and I don't have a camera, but it is a small gunstock. The strangest part is the handle, it is light green, but it has blue streaks. it is the only one I have ever seen that is not a uniform color. My dad says it has a special name, but I can't remember what it is.
