My first Spyderco Manix 2

I have carried this Manix2 for the last 3 months. This is my first experience with CPM S30V. It is very easy to touch up on an Arkansas stone, hard or soft. I had been using a soft stone, but switched to a small hard stone and with it I can easily bring the blade back to shaving sharp. Not much more I can ask for in the steel. A few weeks ago I noticed one of the small torx screws missing. I emailed Spyderco and within a few days there was a small envelope containing 4 screws and a tiny tube of loc-tite. I took all the remaining screws out and re-loc-tited them. Spyderco did a great job solving my problem. All is well. This last month I bought a Tasman Salt and I have been using that one as well at work. It cuts quick and easy with a strong pull against all sorts of plant material. It works exceptionally well on some of the more fibrous types of palm.

The Manix 2 is my favorite, most used Spyderco. I find this knife to have great value.
Also a nice knife to play with.
Cheers

You made a good choice with this knife. My manix2 gets triple the use that my pm2 does. I love the heft of it and overall it is ideal for what I need in a knife.
