i heard so much about the pocket shredding problem even before i bought it and never really took it seriously, but now its obvious with how tight that pocket clip is and how rough thats gonna be on the pockets haha..the DGG is worth it tho imo

I use to pull the clip out a little with my finger as I took the knife in and out of my pocket.

If I recall correctly the Pete Gray version is the only "pimping" that will keep your warranty intact.

If youre worried about the pocket shredder, take the pocket clip off and bend it slightly to take some of relieve some of the tension.

how much bending can one of those clips take? they are titanium right? i have zero experience with titanium and dont want to make any horrible mistakes....

they are pretty resilient.. you shouldnt have to worry about it breaking.

Nice score! You can also place a rubber O ring on the clip screw and cinch it down so it won't be so tight, thought I prefer it tight to factory specs.

The clip will loosen up a little on it's on, but pulling it up and out with your index finger helps. Congrats and nice knife.
