I just received the MFS Strider that I ordered through BadAssKnives.com. Here are my initial impressions.
a) Mike at BadAssKnives is a great person. Shipped the item immediately. I would buy another knife from him in an instant.
b) The knife itself is really a using knife. This is not a knife to put in a display case and admire. It seems strong, tough and truly "built like a tank". It actually looks out of place displayed next to more custom looking blades. It is a user.
c) The only negative I see is that immediately the blade scratches when you take it out of the sheath. I know this is common with kydex sheaths, but the finish on the Strider seems to scratch easier than expected.
On the other hand, scratches and using the knife be damned! Strider offers an unconditional lifetime warrantee on all of their knives and I am one happy camper!
