My first Strider.

The grip on this knife is just incredible. I honestly believe in a self defense situation I could move this folder faster than others with absolutely no fear of losing my grip. It also is very fast and agile for such a big folder. Add in the fact that it's so solid and no doubt I'll be carrying this one for those just in case times, where a capable folder makes you feel a lot more protected.

I just got it today and the fit and finish is great. No tool marks, it's sharp, blade is centered closed, no blade play, grinds are even, opens smooth, none of the bad stuff I've heard for years. I really like it, it's light weight yet seems very strong with it's two piece handle. Great knife overall!

Congrats.:)

That's the exact same model I got that Karg Knives scammed me out of. (well, mine was an S30V blade)
Keep it in your possession, and it'll last you one hell of a long time.

Anybody know if strider does blade replacements? the rate I'm going with the SMF tanto It's gonna be the size of a PT in a few months because I use it like crazy, and haft to sharpen it alot anybody know?

Just contacted Josh about a blade replacement for my PT, they said they will replace but it would be $100 with the original blade trade in. Also that it would take 4-12 weeks for repair since they would have to make the blade.

btw, I just sent my SnG in to Strider to have them respring the lock bar. Very painful.

Congratulations on the SMF, I bought the same config except with black G-10 about 6 months ago. The SW blade and framelock refuse to show wear regardless of how much I use the knife and the CPM-154 holds an edge really well. This was my first knife with CPM-154 and I'm extremely impressed with it. The SMF is my favorite Strider, its not heavy yet is still stout enough for anything I'll need a folder to do.
