Freaking awesome knife! How is the sheath? Is it to caliber with regular Striders? (By the way, I think you meant Mick, not Mike)

Congrats on owning a sweet knife.

I think Kumdo meant he wondered if the sheath was as good as the others, and being your first Strider, good luck comparing :)

That's exactly what I meant, but I didn't notice that it was your first Strider, so never mind. BTW, how is it that this Custom MS became your first Strider? You're a lucky bastid. Congrats!

Actually I was waiting on three sources for my first Strider. I ordered close to 10 knives at one time. After this I think I can only afford 7 :D. It's pure luck (and fate I suppose) that this knife came through first but it actually wasn't the first first. Oh yeah, there's a mixed up with TAD but they managed to resolve and in the end I was extremely happy that they treated me as a VIP :) . Treatment like this shouldn't be taken for granted you know. I appluad TAD for this. Amongst these confusions and frustrations this knife just came through!

My first knife I bought in high school (and that was a while ago:) ) was a Gerber Loveless Guardian. Upon Uni. graduation I found out that this knife became a Collector's item! My new regrown interest in knife was sparked just a couple of months ago while I was surfing for personal defense products and accidentally encountered Strider and as they say the rest was history. Strider's lengendary capabilities and performances are simply unbelievable, to say the least. Right now I am also researching into Busse and its powers. Wonder why no one ever compared the two?! Damn, I shouldn't have said that;)

Anyway, my wait is over for my first Strider. It was an agonizing 2 months wait as I've fantasizing holding a Strider in my hand all this time. Fantasizing about how the tiger stripe in real life instead of pics, pics and more pics. Fantasizing about how "grippy" the green cord would be. Fantasizing 'bout the smell of the sheath...If it sounds kind of sick, it damn sure better be :D . You're right Kumdo, I'm one helluva lucky bastardcumSOB.
