Over all I am pretty happy with the way this thing came out. It was a custom order, but I will have it on hand at Blade Show.

This was a hard knife to take good pics of. I am gonna need some more practice I think....

Specs are:

Blade is 7 3/8" long and 1/4" thick 1095 (hand finished to 2000 grit...)
Over all length is 13 1/4"
Guard tip to tip-3"
Bolster material- 416 stainless steel
Handle material- Stabilized Koa (Alpha KnifeSupply!) over black canvas micarta spacers

Hidden bolts and thong tube are stainless steel as well

Thanks for looking!

This is a very nice knife would like to see the tip a little lower and a tapered tang but your workmanship looks excellent I really like the way you did the guard and subhilt it is very different from the norm. Great hamon... very cool

Thank you all! :) The tang is tapered :)

Incredibly well executed even though it's your first sub-hilt and it showcases your obvious talent, however I just don't like the design.

Thats awesome Les, the ghostly looking hamon does look real cool.... I just came off from your site checking out your folders... Would you be planning to make more sub-hilts? And what would they go for?

Thanks, no plans right now to do anymore of these.... You know what they say about the best laid plans though....
