So, here I sit after my first surgery. I had it at about 1:00 central today.
Not too big a deal. Removal of a pilonidal cyst on the old tail bone. Quite the pain in the butt!
But seriously, general anesthesia is pretty slick stuff. One minute you're in the OR, thinking about how the tile walls are probably built to be hosed off afterwards, and the next you're waking up. No complaints. Slept the rest of the day. Just woke up to get something to eat. Not bad at all.
And as I have now ordered a belt sander and the appropriate accessories and am on Vicodin (both of which are makin' me happy!
), Nam is feeling JUST FINE today! 
Hope I don't have to be on meds too long, though. Don't like feelin' too dopey all the time.
Too bad I missed Dan's deal of the day, though. That kagas katne was just what I was lookin' for.
