Hey all, I gotta be honest this thread is a bit pointless; more of a just being overly excited about buying my first ZT, I felt I had to share...:jerkit:

Anyway, yesterday I pulled the trigger on the 0350. I had been eyeing it for a long time but kept putting it off, but once I heard about the price being raised on them a few weeks ago I started to keep an eye out for a good deal before they are all gone. I found one yesterday online for $112 w/free shipping and had to jump on it. Now I am just suffering from the usual knife waiting which is making me a little nutty (maybe why I would think other knife aficionados would want to hear this ramble).

Once I do receive it I will give my first opinions on it and later on give a bit of a update/review. If I can I will try to post some pictures as well.

Just pulled the trigger on my first 0350 myself. Ya only live once huh! :D I'm getting a ZDP from Dave (Kershawguy). So far it's the ZT that has "appealed" to me more than the rest.

I ordered one for the same price today. I've been wanting one for a while and finally pulled the trigger.

I just ordered a 0350 maybe 2 days ago also.....$112 shipped. I can't wait until I get mine!

Got mine yesterday. I finally understand bank vault lockup. It looks flawless, came sharp, and I can see this kicking the other knives out of my pocket.

I received mine early this morning and am so impressed. It has for now moved my Para-military2 out of my pocket (have to carry the new toy. :p ) but I will say the Para2 for now is still my number one knife. I will of course give the 0350 a good chance to win my affection.

Seriously though it is an amazing knife, the lock up is very solid. The liner lock is engaging to the left but making full contact; once it breaks in I am sure it will be even better. Overall this is a great knife, will write more later on once I get better acquainted. It definitely is a beefy knife and I definitely wont over worry about hurting it.

_Edit:
Had to edit, a little embarassing but I just got bit by it... Not bad, although I am still bleeding... I was just doing some arm-hair shaving and just pushed a little to hard and cut myself. This knife is scary sharp...:o

Received my 0350CBZDP this morning. Being my first ZT I can now see what the hub bub is all about. Just removing it from the box I can tell it's going to be a great knife. Opens smooth, lockup is perfect, fit and finish is excellent, and yes I have a new bald spot on my forearm! lol I guess if I have ANY complaint or concern so far it might be with the stiffness of the clip. It just seems a lot more stiff, perhaps due to the length than either the Blur or Leek clips I'm used to. I will definitely be looking at other variations of this knife to add to my collection! :D

Quick update on my knife; a week later I am still carrying it although my Para2 wants to jump back into rotation so we will see. Overall I am still loving it, still my #2 favorite but it really is amazing. I will give a better review later on in a few weeks or so.

I am a bit worried about something though; 2-3 days ago I started hearing a noise. After opening the blade if you shake the knife side to side there is a metal "clinking" sound. I was thinking it was the knives auto assist spring moving around but I am not sure (thus why I am asking). Is this not unusual or could this mean I have the beginning of an issue?

Also, thanks for everyone contributing.

What you're hearing is the spring assist torsion bar rattling. 99% of the speedsafe knives do this.

I'd argee. I believe they suggested on Facebook of taking a assisted knife that's doing this apart and put a little grease in around the spring.

I've had my 350 for a couple of months now and I love it. I usually carry a black scallion as my typical work edc but I've been toting the 350 since I got it to see how a larger knife would compare as a work edc. So far, so good. I use it for everything I would have used the scallion for and I haven't had a situation where the broader thicker blade has been a detriment. I love the look and feel of the knife and now that I've moved the clip for right side tip up carry it really fits "me". The larger knife just comes out of my pocket better and ready to open in this configuration. I wear uniform work pants that have large enough pocket openings to allow my thumb and forefinger to enter my pocket at the same time so I can have my index finger on the flipper as it exits my pocket, net result is that it is opening as it comes out and it's already in good position for whatever task I might perform. Under bright light there are a couple areas on the blade that reveal a second bevel but overall the edge is very straight and was sharp out of the box and remains so despite normal blue collar Daddy wear and tear. I love the G-10 in this texture and I love the DLC blade coating. I would like to buy one of the tan or green handled knives in zt's lineup for the more 3-D handle style but that's for another day. Good luck and enjoy your knife.

Oh yeah, and what they said. Take it apart and add a dab of grease to the torsion bar to stop the rattle clack.

Had 0350 with stone-wash blade finish for a year now and absolutely love it. Recently it has been bumped out of my pocket by a new 0550. Now I have two absolute favorites!
congrats on the excellent and bombproof choice.

The ZT0350ST is my first Zero Tolerance knife (I have 54 unique Kershaw model numbers currently), and I love it so far! Very cool, well built knife.

I picked up two this yr and am having the blade on one of them re-profiled for better slicing purposes. Cant wait to get it back as it will be the perfect EDC knife once this is done.
