Those are beautiful knives. My favorite is the botttom one with that incredible Hamon. WOW!!

Suz, I can't figure out which one you mean!!

Praktis,The bottom one isn't really a hamon. Its laminated steel (stainless steel pressed over a carbon steel core) and resembles a very contrasty hamon.

The bottum one (Burt Foster) seems to be very popular in forums I post in. Maybe the laminated blade really catches eyes.
