My (for now) Dream Balisong!

You may remember Sniperboy posting a message about successfully completing a Balisong Bounty Hunt?

Well - I am the lucky person that Snipe was hunting for! And I received the custom WeeHawk Tanto yesterday! This knife is amazing! I know - there are folks that think the tanto balis are ugly - but I really find them appealing. They do open the sheeples eyes! This knife is in superb condition, it has the original sheath and came in its original box (with the label intact)! It manipulates like a dream. I'm still a heavy balisong fan - I've already sold my BM42 because after 3 months of daily carry I just didn't care much for it.

Interesting notes - the horns on the punyo of this knife are recurved. Yep - held open, edge down the top horn curves slightly forward and the bottom one curves slightly backward! I have never seen that before in a custom balisong - even tho I used to sell themback in the 80s and handled quite a few of them!

If you want a scarce or hard to find balisong - get in touch with Sniperboy - best Balisong Bounty Hunter out there! (there are other good hunters....but they're looking for themselves....not for others

Could ya send me some pics of it?? (or post them on the forums) I always look at that weehawk tanto that Susan posted a pic of (that is now yours) and I would greatly enjoy more pics of it.

I don't know about the rest of you guys but one of the things that I love to do is find and save pictures of BM/PC/ and Bali-Song Cutlery balisongs (custom and production), it gives me more information and knowledge about the model numbers and gives me something to look at when I get bored.

Cameron - I would be happy to send you more pics......some day. Unfortunately I have no digital camera or scanner, so I am limited to taking them the old fashioned way (and my skill at that is poor) and then having them developed on disk. So - I will be happy to make pics available to you, but don't hold your breath 'cause I want you to still be breathing when I get around to it!
