I'm really tempted by this knife even though i'm into my second month of my "i will not use CCs for a year" program!
Might need to pawn some stuff, lol.
Really wish Spyderco would put out a beefed up version of the Centofante 3 similar to the concept of this Gayle Bradley.

STUNNING PHOTOS . 230 GRAINS How long did it take to cut the tree down with the Bradley ? Just kidding . Fantastic looking knife.

Nice =) I wish Spyderco would remake this in VG-10 steel.

Won't happen, at least not without Gayle Bradley's OK. The point of the collaborations is to give the collaborating person room to spec the knife as they want it to be made, after working with Spyderco to make sure that the knife can be manufactured on a commercially reasonable basis.

One of the main attractions for me is the premium CPM-M4 that is among the top steels in edge retention for production knives. Why would you want a downgrade in steel?

I would like this offered in a stainless version as well. I have the bradley and love it, but oiling it is a pain in the ass. mabe s30v, s90v? vg10 is great steel, dont know if I'd pick it for the bradley though. hell yeah, s90v with linen micarta scales.

Some people are just so new that they do not understand the complex world of steels. We are all there to some extent. ;)

I know many people like CPM-M4. It cuts like a lightsaber and holds the edge extremely well. However for some people like me, it is this same steel that turns us off. Even VG-10 can rust pretty easily in where i'm staying, i think if i ordered the GB, once i open the box, the knife will turn brown the next day. If a VG-10/154CM version of this hit the shelf, i'll surely get one. It'll be cheaper too =D

Maybe a salt? If as you say even vg-10 rusts easily, a GB has liners and of course the clip that can still rust.

The liners and clip are even more stainless. Vg-10 won't rust here if i don't touch it. Yes of course H-1 Steel is great, but i'm talking about this not only from my point of view. I'm sure many people out there would like their GB to be more stainless

S90V is one stainless I wouldn't mind saying yes to :) My GB has been reprofiled really thin and had a patina forced on it, so it looks far less sexy than all the above, but I still love it :)
