I'd keep the M4, you gain a lot of toughness for what seems like a little decrease in edge holding over S90V. And price. Also, this M4 seems to have smaller/finer carbides and be a lot easier to sharpen, so no complaints there. It's not a stainless steel, but still more resistant to stains/corrosion than a simple carbon steel. I've just been wiping mine off with my shirt tail for the past two weeks, no complaints.
