No, this is all in good humor :D Those that are available are the Case mini copperlock, the Mercator and the CRKT. The last one is a bit worn so I am not sure if it is fit to be given away. Like I said, Mercator has a forced patina.

The Douk-douk I gave to a fencing friend. A man much younger than me, actually he and my sons used to play together. How the time flies, where does it go? :confused:

Anyway, I am in a process of weeding out things I dont like in my life anymore. Strange thing is that new things are coming to replace them :o

I like Opinels more because of the comfortable handle and because they can be easily modified. The Douk is of course more easy to carry because of the slimness. Apples and oranges, really. Both get scary sharp.

As I have also a son who is slightly autistic (aspergers syndrome)I find this quite interesting. Still, do you consider it safe to give him a knife? If you think so I could give the Case to you. Send me a e-mail or private message so we can discuss this.

So the Case goes to Fairhaven's grandson and the CRKT is reserved to 91a2jettavr6 and his grandfather. I feel that this way I personally feel best about this.

My Grandson just graduated High school with a 4.0 gradepoint average so I thought it would be great to put a knife in his pocket to show the type of people that collect them.

id kill for a opinel or a spyderco. ive heard plenty of great things about both but ive never actually owned either. interested in a trade for gear?? i can sort of relate to that. my father is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. smoke and prayers going out tonight.
 
Thank everybody for your interest. The Case copperlock mini goes to Fairhaven. The Mercator to LeatherMan and the fate of the CRKT is still open. The last one needs some tuning and polishing, since the knife is not so special I have some reservations if it is worth the trouble to anyone.
 
uhow did you force the patina on the mercator? id love that crkt if your willing.
