Congrats - the parents obviously consider you a part of the family to ask you guys to be the Godparents; that says a lot to the rest of the world too. You guys are blessed to have friends like that.

Thanks, guys and gals It looks like Lily's parents have set a tentative christening date of Father's Day weekend. Her dad needs get a little dental work done. Plus, it's fitting. Father's Day was when they announced her arrival last year
As for keeping the boys at bay, I know her dad can hold his own. He stands about 5'7, but he can be as ornery as a constipated cottonmouth when the mood strikes him
I'm kind of partial to this scene in the John Candy classic, Uncle Buck....just replace hatchet with khuk

Man it changes your life for the better. It's funny, everyone said it was awesome to have kids, but I had no idea. Our little girl is 5 mos. and it's amazing to watch her grow and develop. Dammit ... I'll be meeting her first boyfriend soon! That little human doesn't have to earn your love and respect like everyone else has to; it's truly love at first sight. Holding my daughter for the first time was an incredible experience. Cute God-daughter BTW!
