My Grail has come in!!

Very nice and thanks for the great pictures. Nice to know it will have a home for many years to come......maybe your son or daughter will carry it someday. Congrats.

Congrats! I need to take a pic of the pocket clip they made for that. I have a P as well and it came with the goofiest pocket clip you've ever seen, lol! When I get home from work today I'll make an effort to give you some comic relief.

I am jealous!!! I have been secretly looking for that exact knife for a few years...I have never been in the right place at the right time! I had one slip through my fingers a year or so ago which I suppose was probably a good thing, almost paid $1400 for it. You find anymore PLEASE let me know!!!

That's for all the comments, it truly is a work of art and I am going to thoroughly enjoy using it!

I do not know if I can wait, but I must, until it comes back with the new blade...Angela told me it would take just under a month...took me over 4 years to secure one but this next month is going to feel like an eternity....

P.S.
mwmccormick I almost don't want to see the pocket clip mod, lol, it might make me sick.

Very nice!

You inspired me to buy a small Sebenza P (number 45) to be used as an EDC pocket knife when I can't carry a large Sebenza clipped to my waistband. I was actually looking to buy a Mnandi but figured that this will be more classic. I will leave mine as is with ATS-34 blade and single old style thumb lug.

Congrats! I was thinking about picking up that Small P on the fleabay but I really like the Large variety much better. I would carry the ATS blade as is if it weren't high polished, the high polish would scratch to hell in a short time and I'm thinking about putting the blade on display after I get the new blade installed, it would make a really nice paper weight or desk ornament

I like large better then small as well for Sebenzas but it worked out in this case since I was looking for something more dainty for in pocket carry. The one I am picking up seems to have a bit of pocket finish already so I don't mind making it into a user.

The wind was slightly let out of my sail this morning. I talked to Heather and she was uncertain if they could get a blade to fit....Angela had me convinced that it was a done deal, and I can't get the old blade tumbled since they have to remove the thumbstud and risks cracking of course....

Only time will tell if it is even possible.

Bollocks!

No sense getting it if you aren't going to use it... at least in my eyes. Bite the bullet, use it ;) Long time to wait for something that isn't going to get used.

Hey Steel Addiction, any update on your quest to get a replacement blade for your P Sebenza?

I'm interested in hearing about this as well. I just scored a NIB small P Sebenza and I wouldn't mind getting a new blade fit for use since I don't know if I can bring myself to use such a pristine piece of Chris Reeve Knives history. If it worked out, I would look into getting a Devon Thomas SS damascus blade for it!
