My Grail Knife is HERE!

They are nice aren't they. :D

Congrats. :)

Yes they are nice, and thank you. Your youtube videos on this knife is what pushed me over the edge to select this knife. Very glad I did so and thank you for answering my question about this knifes edge.

...It came out really nice and is blazing sharp. Took me about 3 hours total. If you have any more questions I can take pictures of how I did everything and shoot them to you. Just email me, hope that helps!
Thank you for the reply. It sounds like your experience was similar to my own. No need for extra pics, it sounds like you're just better and faster at sharpening than myself ;) I'll keep at it and hope that I can get my RMD's edge as sharp and shiny as yours and Ankerson's appear to be. Thank you again for the reply and the review

Welcome to the swamp. You should definitely post in the Swamp Rat forum, it needs all the love it can get ;).

I love my RMD, havn't had the drive to reprofile mine yet, SR-101 is so hard, its a bit of a bear. As a new SRKW fan, i've now handled 3 of them and i'm waiting on my 4th, they are all a bit uneven in the grind. My Warden came with close to a 45* inclusive edge, so they can also be on the obtuse side.

Its definitely a hard steel and a pain to work on, but once you get it where you want it, it stays there. Im totally diggin this steel. Im going to re-post this in the SRKW forum now. Expect more pictures of my adventures this weekend. I cant wait to see what it takes to scruff the coating lol.

Thanks for all of the positive responses everyone!
