A single clip blade GEC #25, can't seem to find one anywhere!
What's yours?

It would have to be an original Remington 1306 Bullet lockback. Not made by Camillus, I already have a 1984 R1306. Definitely not one made by Bear and Sons. An honest to God original R1306 manufactured by Remington. Yes, I would carry it if I got one. It is unattainable right now in excellent condition, for me anyway. I had the chance to buy an Ohta 1306 copy/interpretation from a collector, but just can't afford it right now. If I didn't get the customs I ordered, and the barlows I've gotten, I'd be able to get it. The irony. Sorry, bad pun.

For a fixed blade, an original Hudson Bay camp knife would have to go in the display case, I wouldn't be able to use it :(. I already have a reproduction HBC camp knife, so I am good there. Maybe Kephart's... Kephart! :D

I don't know that I really have a grail knife. I'm not sure I know enought to really make that decision. I just like pocket knives. I'd probably really like to get the 2011 Blade Forums knife..... and I would like to have a nice clean example of an old tear drop in ebony.

The only "grails" on my radar right now are a pair of #53 Cubans: 2007 Pond Bone (13 only) and 2008 Caribou Stag (10 only).

Maybe someday . . . .

My grail is a specific knife. I fell the first time I saw it. Not the most useful, but it is so close to perfection that it haunts me.

That is a very fine pattern from GEC. I just sold my #25 single clip blade in bocote wood, and I can't help but feel a little bit of seller's remorse about selling it. It is such a fine little pocket knife, but for my big hands it was mostly only good as an expensive box cutter. The #15 is just the right size for me as a small knife, but the 25 is just a hair too small. I still want one in ebony wood though!

As far as single clip blades from GEC go... They just released the clip version of the TC Barlow, and if you are quick enough, there are still some available. PM for more details if you are interested

As for my grail traditional? At the moment it is definitely the two bladed spearpoint TC Barlow by GEC.

Christian, I'll see your Mike Ruth, Jr. (BFC Bowie of the year, last year, BTW) . . . .

and raise you one Adam DesRosiers. Not mine either, but glorious, none the less.

I have also been lusting after the 2009 BFs (Queen made) barlow.
I will never be satisfied, but i almost feel comfortably content now that i have my 1940-1969 Case Heavy Jack.
It's in the best condition I've seen in such an old knife and the W&T is just solid.

Two at the moment. That little single bladed sheepfoot from GEC (don't know thw number at the moment) and a single bladed Pemberton from GEC (preferably bone handle)

Schlieper/Eye Brand canoe with green composite(?) covers and a Texas shield. My dad gave me one when I was a kid and I lost it while fishing on Caddo Lake. I replaced it several years ago, but I lost the replacement in a fire. If any of y'all happen across one, I'd sure appreciate a heads-up.

My grail would be a Todd Davidson swayback. I had a photo of the one that I fell for, but the photo got killed somehow.

I still see it in my mind.
